Forced Removal of AIAA-Published Paper: Academic Freedom, ADA, and Retaliation Violations

### Incident 9 (Row 10): Forced Removal of AIAA Published Paper

* **AAUP Redbook Review (C):** The document (`/2001-2-15-mars-society-aiaa-mars-pathfinder-2-0-paper/`) points to a massive violation of the AAUP Redbook. Forcing an external academic body (AIAA) to censor and remove a student’s published work is a blatant, indefensible violation of Academic Freedom and the student’s right to publish (Joint Statement, Section IV.B).

* **ADA Review (D):** This act goes beyond failure to accommodate; it is an active, aggressive measure to sabotage a disabled student’s professional career, violating the anti-retaliation and anti-coercion provisions of the ADA (28 CFR § 35.134).

* **Title IX / VII Review (E):** This is a severe, retaliatory act. Sabotaging a student’s external publication clearly creates an objectively hostile, intimidating, and abusive educational environment.

* **Veteran / VEVRAA Review (F):** Active interference in the professional advancement of a disabled veteran is a direct violation of the affirmative obligations and anti-harassment protections mandated by federal contractor regulations.
