Refusal of Oral Exam Practice Session Raises ADA and Academic Fairness Concerns

### Incident 13 (Row 14): Refusal of Practice Sessions for Oral Exam

* **AAUP Redbook Review (C):** Denying a customary practice session to one student while providing it to others violates the AAUP standard for equitable treatment and fairness in the academic process.

* **ADA Review (D):** This is a direct failure to accommodate. Under Section 504 and Title II, providing a practice session (especially when customary) is a reasonable accommodation. Refusing it to a student with schizophrenia (which can affect high-stress test performance) is a severe ADA violation.

* **Title IX / VII Review (E):** Disparate provision of academic resources (practice exams) based on protected characteristics is a tangible harm that establishes discriminatory intent.

* **Veteran / VEVRAA Review (F):** Denying standard academic preparation to a disabled veteran actively undermines their ability to succeed, contravening federal policies meant to support veteran retention and graduation.
