Broucke

FORTRAN guru and expert in the Three Body Problem, Roger Broucke was my advisor for 4 years. In all that time, we had only one meeting. He never gave me advice or counsel for registration. He didn’t even go to my Mars seminar. He quit as my advisor after I failed the mathe qualifying exam. A few weeks later I passed the oral re-take.
