2006.6.16 Banned from campus for life

I am hereby banned from contacting anybody on campus involved in my research – which was basically the whole orbits group, most of the aerospace department, astronomy professors, and an EE professor (and PAM Abusali) who was fascinated by my semiconductor model.

Dear Bill:

I am responding to your recent email addressed to Dean Soncia Reagins-Lilly. First, I need to remind you that I am your single point of contact for any official communications you feel you need to have with the University of Texas at Austin. As you have previously been instructed, you are not to harass the Dean or anyone else here at the University with email, phone calls, office visits or anything else. Fail not.

Second, your case is closed. I have reviewed your file and determined that your case was properly handled at every level, including the Office of Students with Disabilities. Accordingly, your business here is finished.

With respect to your recent “grievance” to ABET, I arn confident that UT will not lose it’s accreditation for dismissing students that do not perform.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please direct them to me and me alone. Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

Lee S. Smith

Associate Vice President for Legal Affairs
